Responsibilities
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures in residential and commercial properties.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine electrical layouts.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure compliance with local codes and safety regulations.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical problems efficiently and safely.
- Ensure all work meets the highest quality standards and client expectations.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, strictly adhering to OSHA safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License (Virginia or New York state recognized).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in residential and commercial electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
