Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, moving materials, and setting up temporary work areas.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the site using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks.
- Tool Operation: Operate power tools and equipment (drills, saws, etc.) under the supervision of certified personnel.
- Assisting Trades: Support carpenters, electricians, and plumbers with various tasks to ensure project milestones are met.
- Site Cleanliness: Maintain a safe and organized work environment by cleaning up spills, waste, and debris regularly.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to ensure a safe working environment for everyone.
Qualifications
- Willingness to Learn: No prior construction experience required; we will train you!
- Physical Stamina: Must be able to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and standing on your feet.
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow instructions from supervisors.
- Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail to ensure tasks are completed accurately and safely.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and committed to showing up on time every day.
- Valid Driver's License: (Preferred) A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are advantageous.
