Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by cleaning debris, marking areas, and setting up temporary barriers.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment safely to and from the job site.
- Tool Operation: Operate basic construction tools and machinery under supervision, including jackhammers, forklifts, and power washers.
- Assistance: Provide support to skilled tradespeople, including carpenters, electricians, and masons.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area throughout the shift.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred; candidates with a strong work ethic are encouraged to apply.
- Physical Fitness: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Attitude: A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work well in a team setting.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and clean driving record required for site transportation.
- Experience: No prior construction experience necessary; full training provided.
