Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and distribute construction materials, tools, and supplies to and from job sites.
- Machinery Operation: Operate heavy machinery and equipment, including forklifts and skid steers, under supervision.
- Site Preparation: Prepare and clean job sites, ensuring a safe and organized work environment.
- Assistance: Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with various tasks as needed.
- Measurement: Measure and cut materials to ensure precise specifications for projects.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety standards and company protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Driver's License: Valid state-issued driver's license required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects (50+ lbs) and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Communication: Basic verbal communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
- Teamwork: Strong desire to work collaboratively with a diverse crew.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time work, including weekends or overtime as needed.
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred but not mandatory.
