Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with daily tasks.
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the job site.
- Operate basic construction tools and equipment under supervision.
- Prepare construction sites by cleaning debris, digging trenches, and setting up scaffolding.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Perform basic site cleanup and maintain a neat and organized workspace.
- Read and understand basic blueprints and work orders.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Must be physically fit and able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are preferred.
- Willingness to work overtime and on weekends as project schedules require.
- Basic math skills for measuring and estimating.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and team-oriented attitude.
