Responsibilities
- Execute foundational construction tasks including material handling, site preparation, and debris removal
- Operate power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) and heavy equipment under supervision
- Adhere to strict OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean, organized job sites
- Assist skilled trades with concrete pouring, framing, and finishing operations
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate project execution
- Collaborate with team members to meet weekend project deadlines
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
Qualifications
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks in outdoor conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites
- Basic understanding of construction safety standards (OSHA certification preferred)
- Flexible availability for weekend shifts (Saturday/Sunday, 6AM-6PM)
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with zero-tolerance policy for tardiness
- Willingness to travel to project sites across North Carolina
- Pass pre-employment background and drug screening
