Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, masons) with daily tasks and job site operations.
- Load, unload, and distribute construction materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Prepare job sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up temporary structures.
- Operate basic construction tools and machinery, ensuring proper maintenance and safety protocols are followed.
- Perform physical labor including lifting, carrying, and standing for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Follow all safety regulations and company policies to maintain a secure working environment.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50+ pounds repeatedly.
- Willingness to learn and work outdoors in all types of weather conditions.
- Basic math skills for measuring and estimating materials.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record (preferred).
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- No prior construction experience is required; on-the-job training is provided.
