Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial and residential properties.
- Perform routine inspections and testing of electrical components to ensure compliance with safety codes and regulations.
- Read and interpret basic electrical blueprints and schematics to understand wiring layouts.
- Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently to complete assigned tasks.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Document work performed accurately in daily logs and time sheets.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure project timelines are met.
Qualifications
- No prior experience required; on-the-job training is provided.
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read measurements accurately.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong desire to learn the electrical trade and a commitment to safety protocols.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
