Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople (electricians, plumbers, carpenters) with daily tasks and project execution.
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment from delivery trucks.
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up scaffolding.
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently under supervision.
- Perform basic site cleanup and maintain a safe, organized work environment.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols.
- Measure, cut, and fit materials according to blueprints and specifications.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred; no experience required for entry-level positions.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods (lifting 50+ lbs, standing, climbing).
- Basic knowledge of construction safety practices is a plus but not mandatory.
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and follow instructions.
- Willingness to learn new skills and advance within the trades.
- Must be available for full-time hours, including potential weekend work.
