Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up scaffolding.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Tool Operation: Operate basic construction tools and machinery under the supervision of a foreman.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to strict safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Assisting Trades: Provide support to carpenters, electricians, and other specialized trades as needed.
- Measuring & Marking: Perform basic measurements and marking to ensure accurate construction standards.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs repeatedly and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Basic understanding of construction safety procedures is a plus but not required.
- Willingness to learn new skills and follow instructions.
- Ability to work as part of a team and maintain a positive attitude.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
