Responsibilities
- Perform site preparation including debris removal and ground clearing
- Assist skilled trades with material handling and equipment operation
- Follow blueprints and supervisor instructions accurately
- Maintain clean and organized work areas per OSHA standards
- Operate hand tools (hammers, saws, shovels) and power tools safely
- Participate in daily safety briefings and toolbox meetings
- Complete basic construction tasks (concrete pouring, framing support, etc.)
- Report hazards and equipment malfunctions immediately
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Team player with clear communication skills
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
