Responsibilities
- Assist with general construction tasks, including digging, loading, and unloading materials.
- Operate hand and power tools safely under the supervision of skilled tradespeople.
- Prepare job sites by clearing debris, leveling ground, and setting up temporary structures.
- Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Transport materials to and from the worksite efficiently.
- Perform general cleanup and maintenance of the construction area.
- Communicate effectively with foremen and team members to ensure project goals are met.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions (heat, rain, cold).
- Basic math skills for measuring and counting materials.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Strong work ethic and a desire to learn the construction trade.
