Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various construction tasks, including framing, drywalling, and basic carpentry.
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the job site efficiently.
- Operate power tools and equipment, such as saws, drills, and compressors, following all safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to all OSHA regulations.
- Measure, cut, and handle lumber and building materials with precision and care.
- Perform basic site preparation, cleanup, and waste removal.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure project milestones are met.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic math skills for measuring lengths, areas, and calculating material requirements.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions and on uneven terrain.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
- Valid driver's license is a plus but not mandatory.
- No prior construction experience is necessary; on-the-job training is provided for enthusiastic candidates.
