Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Prepare job sites by clearing debris, leveling ground, and setting up temporary barriers and signage.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Assistance: Support skilled tradespeople, including carpenters, electricians, and masons, with various tasks.
- Equipment Operation: Operate basic construction machinery and power tools under direct supervision.
- Quality Control: Ensure work meets project specifications and safety standards (OSHA compliant).
- Site Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times to prevent accidents.
- Heavy Lifting: Perform physical tasks including lifting, carrying, and moving materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including standing, bending, and lifting.
- Experience: Previous construction experience is a plus, but we provide on-the-job training for the right candidates.
- Driver's License: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and willing to work overtime when needed.
- Communication: Basic English skills and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours, including weekends if necessary.
