Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the job site efficiently.
- Assist skilled tradespeople, including carpenters, electricians, and masons, with daily tasks.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and in accordance with safety regulations.
- Prepare job sites by digging trenches, clearing debris, and mixing concrete.
- Ensure all work areas are clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA standards.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, plans, and specifications.
- Perform general cleanup duties to maintain a professional work environment.
Qualifications
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and outdoor environments.
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work well within a diverse team.
- Valid driver's license is preferred but not strictly required.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform manual labor.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- High school diploma or GED is a plus.
