Responsibilities
- Perform physical tasks including digging, lifting materials, and operating hand/power tools
- Assist carpenters and masons with site preparation and structural work
- Maintain clean and safe job sites by removing debris and following OSHA protocols
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate project execution
- Operate light machinery such as concrete mixers and jackhammers safely
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily project milestones
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of construction or related field experience
- Valid OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and materials
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
