Responsibilities
- Execute physical construction tasks including excavation, material handling, and site preparation
- Operate heavy machinery (bobcats, forklifts) and hand tools with precision
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and site-specific regulations
- Collaborate with skilled tradespersons on complex construction projects
- Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical schematics
- Maintain clean, organized work areas throughout project phases
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years verifiable construction labor experience
- OSHA 10/30 certification or willingness to obtain
- Valid North Carolina driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Proficiency with power tools and heavy machinery operation
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and flexible schedule
