Responsibilities
- Execute diverse construction tasks including excavation, site preparation, and material handling
- Operate heavy machinery (backhoes, excavators, forklifts) with proper safety protocols
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical schematics accurately
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and adhere to OSHA safety standards
- Collaborate with skilled tradespeople to ensure project timelines are met
- Perform concrete work, framing, and finishing tasks as needed
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance issues
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on construction experience
- Valid OSHA 30-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Commercial driver's license (CDL) Class B preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Strong mechanical aptitude and equipment operation skills
- Knowledge of Pennsylvania and New York construction regulations
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance record
