Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation, excavation, and demolition tasks safely and efficiently
- Operate hand/power tools (jackhammers, saws, drills) and heavy machinery (excavators, forklifts)
- Load/unload construction materials and maintain organized job sites
- Assist skilled tradesmen with carpentry, masonry, and concrete work
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and maintain a hazard-free workplace
- Read blueprints and follow project specifications precisely
- Perform daily equipment maintenance and site cleanup duties
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety standards
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with zero-tolerance policy for tardiness
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and follow verbal instructions
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
