Responsibilities
- Perform site preparation, excavation, and material handling using hand/power tools
- Assist carpenters, masons, and skilled trades with project-specific tasks
- Ensure strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and site regulations
- Operate light machinery (e.g., forklifts, saws) after proper certification
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and proper waste disposal
- Read and interpret basic construction blueprints and instructions
- Complete daily progress reports and time documentation
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction/labor experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with zero-tolerance policy for absences
- Basic math skills for material calculations and measurements
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Willingness to work flexible hours including occasional weekends
