Responsibilities
- Assist in site preparation including clearing debris and setting up safety barriers
- Load/un construction materials and equipment using manual and powered tools
- Perform digging, trenching, and earthmoving tasks under supervisor guidance
- Operate basic machinery like jackhammers, saws, and drills with training
- Maintain clean and organized work areas throughout the project
- Follow all OSHA safety protocols and report hazards immediately
- Support skilled trades with material delivery and equipment setup
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout shifts
- Valid state ID and reliable transportation to job sites
- Basic understanding of English for safety instructions
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours daily
- Team player with strong communication skills
