Responsibilities
- Execute excavation, demolition, and site preparation tasks with precision
- Operate heavy machinery (bobcats, forklifts) under certified supervision
- Install/repair scaffolding and temporary structures per OSHA standards
- Maintain clean, organized job sites with proper waste management protocols
- Assist skilled tradesmen in concrete pouring, framing, and finishing
- Conduct daily equipment safety checks and report maintenance needs
- Adhere strictly to nighttime safety protocols and traffic control measures
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction site experience or equivalent training
- Valid O-10 card or ability to obtain within 30 days
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to complete)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and work in extreme conditions
- Basic hand/power tool proficiency (drills, saws, wrenches)
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance record
- Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Strong communication skills in English (Spanish a plus)
