Responsibilities
- Perform physical labor including digging, lifting materials, and operating hand/power tools
- Assist skilled tradespeople with construction tasks per blueprints and safety protocols
- Maintain clean and organized job sites to ensure OSHA compliance
- Operate light machinery (e.g., jackhammers, saws) after proper training
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment efficiently
- Report hazards and safety concerns to site supervisors immediately
- Complete daily time logs and equipment inspection forms
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction/labor experience preferred
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Basic math skills for material calculations
- Reliable transportation to job sites
