Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up scaffolding, and directing traffic
- Assist skilled tradespeople with material handling, equipment operation, and task completion
- Read blueprints and safety protocols to ensure compliance on all tasks
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and dispose of hazardous materials properly
- Operate hand/power tools safely and perform basic equipment maintenance
- Adhere strictly to OSHA standards and company safety policies
- Collaborate effectively with supervisors and team members to meet deadlines
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction experience or equivalent training
- Valid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training provided)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends as needed
