Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up scaffolding, and securing materials
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently for excavation, demolition, and finishing tasks
- Assist skilled tradespersons with material handling, equipment operation, and site safety protocols
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure precise task execution and project compliance
- Maintain clean, organized workspaces and adhere to OSHA safety standards at all times
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality benchmarks
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on construction labor experience preferred
- Valid OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks in all weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) and construction equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Reliable transportation and punctuality for 6 AM start times
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
