Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including loading, unloading, and transporting heavy construction materials to and from the job site.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, HVAC, etc.) with daily operations and site preparation.
- Operate basic construction equipment and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Ensure the work area is clean, organized, and free of debris to maintain a safe environment.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and construction plans.
- Prepare surfaces for painting, drywall, or finishing as directed by the foreman.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety protocols and OSHA standards.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
- Willingness to learn new skills and work as part of a team.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a positive attitude.
