Responsibilities
- Load and Unload Materials: Safely transport building materials, tools, and equipment to and from the job site.
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up scaffolding.
- Assist Tradespeople: Support skilled tradespeople such as electricians, carpenters, and masons with various tasks as directed.
- Equipment Operation: Operate basic construction equipment and hand tools (power drills, saws) under supervision.
- Site Cleanup: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment at all times.
- Measure and Mark: Help measure and mark cutting and placement lines on materials.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: We welcome applicants with zero experience who are willing to learn.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for long periods, including lifting heavy objects (50+ lbs) and standing for extended hours.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfort with basic measurements and calculations.
- Attention to Safety: Strong commitment to following safety protocols and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Valid Driver's License: A valid driver's license is preferred for site travel.
- Reliability: Ability to arrive on time and work as part of a cohesive team.
