Responsibilities
- Assist in the setup, operation, and cleanup of construction sites and job locations.
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment from trucks and delivery vehicles.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a secure work environment.
- Perform general site maintenance, including debris removal and job site sanitation.
- Operate basic construction equipment and hand tools under the supervision of a foreman or supervisor.
- Transport materials to and from various work areas using carts, dollies, or hand trucks.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, foremen, and fellow crew members.
Qualifications
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat and rain.
- Basic understanding of construction safety standards and protocols.
- Valid driver's license (preferred) and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
- Strong work ethic and a team-oriented attitude.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
