Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Prepare work areas by running conduit, pulling wire, and organizing tools and materials.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams to understand project requirements.
- Perform routine safety inspections and ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Learn and operate various power tools and testing equipment under supervision.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Willingness to obtain required state certifications and licenses upon employment.
- Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and work in various environments, including heights and tight spaces.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Basic math skills and physical stamina are essential for this role.
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude toward learning new skills.
