Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Load, unload, and prepare construction materials and equipment for daily operations.
- Assistance: Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with various on-site tasks.
- Maintenance: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site in compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Equipment Support: Operate basic construction tools and machinery under supervision.
- Material Handling: Perform heavy lifting and transport materials to and from the work area.
- Documentation: Complete daily logs and report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions immediately.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience: Previous construction labor experience is a plus but not required; willing to train the right candidate.
- Physical Requirements: Must be physically fit, able to lift 50+ lbs, and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- License: Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Skills: Basic math skills and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Attitude: Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a commitment to safety.
