Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of manual labor tasks including digging, loading, and unloading materials.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with daily operations.
- Operate and maintain power tools and construction equipment safely.
- Ensure all work areas are clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and site plans.
- Load and unload trucks and deliver materials to the job site.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous construction experience is a plus but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects.
- Must pass a drug screen and background check.
- Basic understanding of construction safety standards (OSHA).
