Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in site preparation by digging trenches, leveling ground, and removing debris as directed by the site supervisor.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Equipment Operation: Operate hand and power tools, including drills, saws, and compressors, following all safety guidelines.
- Support Trades: Provide assistance to carpenters, electricians, and other skilled tradespeople as needed to ensure project timelines are met.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Quality Control: Perform basic inspections of work areas to identify potential safety issues or defects.
- Communication: Maintain clear communication with team members and supervisors regarding project status and instructions.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in construction labor or general labor is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided.
- Physical Fitness: Must be physically capable of performing manual labor, including heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs), standing for long periods, and working in various weather conditions.
- Tools: Basic familiarity with hand and power tools is a plus.
- License: Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends and overtime when necessary.
- Documentation: Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
