Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Clear and prepare construction sites by removing debris, trash, and obstacles.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites using heavy machinery or manual labor.
- Equipment Support: Operate hand and power tools under supervision to assist in various construction tasks such as mixing concrete, digging trenches, or framing.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
- Site Cleanup: Maintain a clean and organized work area to prevent accidents and ensure efficient workflow.
- Assist Tradespeople: Provide labor support for electricians, plumbers, carpenters, and other skilled professionals as directed.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) and standing for long durations.
- Experience: Previous experience in construction labor, landscaping, or general labor is preferred but not always required; on-the-job training provided.
- Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Communication: Good verbal communication skills and the ability to follow instructions from supervisors.
- Safety Mindset: A strong commitment to workplace safety and wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Reliability: Dependable attendance and punctuality are essential.
