Responsibilities
- Perform physical tasks including digging, lifting materials, and operating hand/power tools
- Assist skilled tradespeople with site preparation, cleanup, and material handling
- Maintain a safe work environment by following OSHA protocols and using PPE
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment at job sites
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and instructions
- Assist in setting up and dismantling temporary structures
- Report equipment issues or safety hazards to supervisors
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physically demanding work in various weather conditions
- Willingness to learn construction skills and safety procedures
- Valid driver's license preferred but not required
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to follow verbal instructions and work in a team
- No formal experience necessary – training provided
- Must pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Basic math skills for material measurement
