Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Prepare job sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting forms accurately.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment with care.
- Machinery Operation: Safely operate heavy machinery and hand tools as directed by site supervisors.
- Assistance: Provide hands-on support to skilled tradespeople, including carpenters, electricians, and ironworkers.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to OSHA safety standards and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Cleanup: Maintain a clean and organized work area at the end of each shift.
Qualifications
- Physical Demands: Ability to perform heavy physical labor for long hours, including lifting 50+ lbs repeatedly.
- Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites.
- Experience: Previous construction or general labor experience is preferred but not required.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions clearly.
- Teamwork: Strong ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented construction environment.
