About the Role: As a Construction Laborer, you'll be the backbone of our projects, supporting skilled tradesmen with site preparation, material handling, and structural tasks. This physically dynamic role offers daily variety and the satisfaction of seeing tangible results from your work.
Responsibilities
- Assist with site preparation including excavation, grading, and trenching
- Safely load/unload construction materials and equipment
- Operate hand/power tools under skilled supervision
- Maintain clean, organized, and OSHA-compliant work sites
- Support carpenters, masons, and other tradesmen
- Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance
- Participate in team briefings and safety drills
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license (preferred but not mandatory)
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Basic math skills for material measurements
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
