Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and ensuring the area is safe and accessible for the crew.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the job site using hand trucks, forklifts, or manual labor.
- Equipment Support: Operate basic construction tools and equipment, including jackhammers, generators, and pressure washers under supervision.
- General Labor: Perform a variety of manual tasks including mixing concrete, sanding, and cleaning work areas to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Quality Assurance: Assist senior crew members with measurements and ensuring materials are laid correctly according to blueprints.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to ensure a hazard-free work environment.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform strenuous physical labor for long periods, including lifting heavy objects (50+ lbs) and standing for extended hours outdoors.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time hours, including weekends and overtime when necessary.
- Communication: Good verbal communication skills and the ability to follow instructions from supervisors clearly.
- Driver's License: A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are preferred.
- Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and willing to work in various weather conditions.
- Background: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
