Responsibilities
- Perform general labor duties on active construction sites, including digging, lifting, and carrying heavy materials.
- Operate basic construction tools and equipment safely and efficiently under supervision.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, framers) with various on-site tasks.
- Ensure job sites are clean, organized, and free of debris or hazards.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations strictly at all times.
- Unload and inventory construction materials as they arrive at the site.
- Support site preparation, including setting up scaffolding and temporary fencing.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: Perfect for entry-level candidates looking to start their career in construction.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly throughout the day.
- Physically fit and able to work in various weather conditions (hot, cold, rain).
- Must be reliable, punctual, and possess a strong work ethic.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
- Willingness to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including steel-toed boots and vests.
- Basic ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
