Responsibilities
- Perform heavy lifting, carrying materials, and operating hand/power tools
- Assist skilled trades with excavation, demolition, and site preparation
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety protocols and company standards
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and proper waste disposal
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project instructions
- Operate light machinery (e.g., forklifts, jackhammers) with certification
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily project milestones
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic math skills for measurements and material estimates
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening
- Previous construction experience preferred but not required
