Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in the preparation of construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling ground.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and distribute materials, tools, and equipment to designated areas efficiently and safely.
- Equipment Support: Operate hand and power tools under supervision, including drills, saws, and compressors.
- Assist Trades: Support skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) by performing necessary tasks to facilitate project progress.
- Quality Control: Ensure all work meets project specifications and safety standards.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized job site to ensure safety compliance at all times.
- Documentation: Accurately complete daily logs and time sheets as required.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in construction or general labor is preferred but not required; we provide training.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform heavy physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly, standing for long periods, and working in various weather conditions.
- Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Communication: Strong ability to follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors.
- Tools: Basic familiarity with hand tools is a plus.
- Safety First: A commitment to adhering to all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines.
- Reliability: Punctual, dedicated, and willing to work a full-time schedule.
