Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, and masons) with various tasks.
- Perform basic site preparation, including digging, leveling, and cleaning work areas.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently according to safety protocols.
- Ensure job sites remain clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
- Follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors and site managers.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Physical stamina to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Valid Driver’s License (clean driving record is a plus).
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly throughout the day.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends when needed.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety standards (OSHA) is a strong advantage.
