Responsibilities
- Execute physical construction tasks including excavation, material handling, and site preparation
- Operate hand/power tools (jackhammers, saws, drills) and light machinery safely
- Assist skilled tradesmen (carpenters, masons, electricians) on active projects
- Maintain site cleanliness and safety protocols at all times
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and project specifications
- Load/unload materials and equipment at job sites
- Report hazards or equipment malfunctions to supervisors immediately
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months construction/labor experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic tool proficiency (hammers, shovels, saws)
- Pass pre-employment background/drug screening
