Job Overview
We are a leading general contracting firm specializing in residential and commercial construction projects throughout Northeast Florida. We value safety, quality, and integrity. As a Laborer, you will be the backbone of our projects, assisting various tradespeople and ensuring our sites run smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers, etc.) with daily project tasks.
- Load, unload, and distribute building materials, tools, and equipment to job sites.
- Operate basic construction equipment and hand tools safely and effectively.
- Perform site cleanup, including debris removal, trash disposal, and sweeping.
- Measure, cut, and prepare materials for installation as directed by supervisors.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Support heavy lifting and physical labor as required by the job site.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, rain, etc.).
- Basic math skills for measuring lengths and calculating quantities.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Ability to follow verbal and written safety instructions.
- Valid Driver’s License is a plus but not mandatory.
