Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with construction tasks including material handling, site preparation, and cleanup
- Operate basic hand tools and equipment under supervision (shovels, wheelbarrows, saws)
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized worksite
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely
- Perform physical tasks including digging, lifting, and carrying materials
- Adapt to changing project schedules and site conditions
- Complete daily timecards and report equipment issues to supervisors
Qualifications
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license preferred but not required
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Baltimore County
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic understanding of construction safety guidelines
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn new skills
- Ability to follow instructions from site supervisors
