Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various construction tasks, including carpentry, masonry, and general site preparation.
- Load and unload building materials from delivery trucks and organize them at the job site.
- Operate basic construction equipment and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by removing debris and following safety protocols.
- Set up and take down temporary site structures, barricades, and signs.
- Perform basic measurements and assist in layout tasks under supervision.
- Communicate effectively with team members and site supervisors.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials (50+ lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Valid driver's license is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills for measuring and cutting materials.
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
- Strong work ethic and a willingness to learn new skills.
