Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and debris removal
- Assist carpenters and masons with material handling and basic installation
- Operate power tools safely (saws, drills, jackhammers) under supervision
- Maintain clean, organized job sites per OSHA safety standards
- Read and interpret basic construction blueprints and plans
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment efficiently
- Participate in trenching, concrete pouring, and framing support
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions (heat, rain, cold)
- Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training provided if needed)
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with zero-tolerance policy
- Ability to follow verbal instructions from site supervisors
