Responsibilities
- Perform physical labor including excavation, material handling, and site preparation
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery safely
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other skilled trades on active construction sites
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and project specifications
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment efficiently
- Inspect and maintain tools/equipment in optimal working condition
- Support concrete pouring, framing, and finishing operations
- Document daily progress and report maintenance issues
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and materials handling
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training provided)
- Strong work ethic and punctuality essential
- Ability to pass background check and pre-employment drug screen
- Willingness to work overtime and flexible shifts
