Responsibilities
- Execute physical construction tasks including excavation, material handling, and site preparation
- Assist skilled tradespeople with carpentry, masonry, and structural installations
- Operate hand/power tools and heavy machinery safely and efficiently
- Maintain clean, organized work environments and adhere to OSHA safety standards
- Read blueprints and technical specifications to ensure project accuracy
- Collaborate with team members to meet tight project deadlines
- Report equipment issues and maintenance needs promptly
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of construction labor experience or relevant trade certification
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and materials
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility to work nights/weekends on project deadlines
- Pass background check and drug screening
