Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and masons with material handling and site preparation
- Operate heavy machinery including jackhammers, saws, and drills under supervision
- Maintain clean and organized job sites per OSHA standards
- Read blueprints and technical drawings to execute tasks accurately
- Participate in safety briefings and hazard mitigation protocols
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely
- Perform general site cleanup and waste management
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience preferred
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Valid California driver's license
- Basic math skills for material calculations
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- Flexible schedule including overtime availability
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
