Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including digging, lifting, carrying, and hauling materials to and from the job site.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with various duties as directed.
- Operate basic construction equipment such as forklifts, skid steers, and jackhammers safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area by removing debris and organizing tools.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, schematics, and safety plans.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to ensure a hazard-free environment.
- Perform site preparation and finishing tasks as required by the project manager.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
- Previous construction experience is a plus but not mandatory for the right candidate.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to learn new skills.
